- Become a volunteer to work with the children and youth through EACTC programs. Training is provided.
- Offer to serve on one of our committees:
- Fund Development and Marketing Committee: Oversee the development of long-range plans to ensure adequate
resources; develop marketing plans; oversee media contacts and messages; identify potential donors; plan and
implement capital campaign.
- Finance Committee: Chaired by Treasurer; charged with development of annual budget; develops long-range financial
plans to assure sustainability; assures appropriate monitoring and accounting of all funds of the organization.
- Nominating Committee: Composed of four members, two from the Board and two from general community;
recruit and evaluate potential Board members; recommend nominees to the Board on annual basis and in case
of vacancies.
- Executive Committee: Composed of officers of the Board, and others as deemed appropriate. Primary purpose:
to assure Board's effectiveness; set agendas; act on behalf of the Board to meet funding deadlines or other critical
issues; review and evaluate the Project Director.
- Assist the Project Director by helping with telephoning, mailings, and monitoring program efforts.
- Help identify other needs and make recommendations for other programs and services to meet those needs.
